Okay, I guess that first blog post was kind of pathetic. So hopefully this one's a little bit better:
Yesterday Paul's mom and sisters threw me a bridal shower and it ended up being a success. I don't know about you guys but a lot of times when I go to other people's bridal showers it can get a little awkward. This bridal shower consisted of the ladies from my old family ward, Paul's mom's relatives, and close family friends of my mom that I actually haven't seen in long time. So as you can imagine I was a little nervous and besides, I don't really like it when all the attention and questions are centered towards me. Nonetheless, the decorations turned out really great, the food was awesome and all the ladies that came were really nice and made the event so much fun to be a part of. I'm so grateful for all the work that Cheri and the girls did to make this experience a great one. It's also a blessing to have the love and support of so many people. And the gifts that were given were things that Paul & I could really use to start out our new life together so we really do appreciate it.

Of course when this festive shin dig was all over I was happy to spend the rest of my Saturday with this man!
